Is Dependency Injection in asp.net core fast enough?

Under the cover the default DI infrastructure uses reflection to instantiate and call the contructor of controllers. But reflection is slow. Instantiation of types using reflection should be avoided.

Kerstel is optimized for performance, so I dont understand why the MVC Team slows down the architecture with relflection.
