Why Scala $colon$colon type is not a subclass of List?

God bless you tramps bringing evening to your's prison cells! I have a problem with Scala $colon$colon type. This b#tsh isn's assignable from List, even Iterable, but it is a List as true as I am a noble thug! This statement returns true:

clazz.getSuperclass == Class.forName("scala.collection.immutable.List")

I've got $colon$colon via reflection. I've been asked for declared field of my class with list field, it has returned me a value then i've asked for it's class and got this. I'll share my best prostitutes with whom who'll help me with this.
