As part of current project, i need to make the assembly unusable if the client has not purchased the license. The tools like Redgate smart assembly or other obfuscator tools does that somehow if obfuscated using trial license. Can anyone please point me in some direction that how these tools might be achieving it. I have tried searching but could not find anything relevant.
