How to format object value like it do "ValueFor" but outside of View (controllers, services, etc)?

I need to format object value in business layer of application leaning on DisplayFormat attributes. This is necessary because of using Reflection to get values and then pass them next to another (foreign) server, but Reflection's GetValue returns unformatted value. I want to keep all clean and prevent duplicating format logic.

Is there any way to do this?
